   Meet Our Staff

About our Staff
Our support staff believes veterinary medicine is not just their job but their way of life. Our staff helps us care for you and your pet during their visit with us, no matter how long their stay may be. The entire staff receives continuing education seminars throughout the year so we can provide the best up to date care possible for your pet. We love all animals and feel that without them in our lives we would be less complete and lack fulfillment. We have fun while we work and enjoy our bond that we share with your pet. We treat our clients like friends and their pets like our own. We can't help but smile when you see us because we love what we do and cherish every moment that we are blessed to be a part of you and your pet's life.

Hospital Manager

Judy
Indian Hills Animal Clinic would not be the same without our amazing hospital manager, Judy. She provides a variety of analytical, advisory, supervisory and technical functions in support of Indian Hills Animal Clinic. Judy not only keeps our clients happy, but also our doctor team and our support staff—a feat in and of itself. If you have any concerns, suggestions, or praise for Indian Hills Animal Clinic, please do not hesitate to contact Judy.

Daycare Staff
Our daycare staff understands and respects the way dogs communicate. They love watching dogs enjoying themselves and taking part in the dog pack culture. With daily activities, lots of energy and a few treats, they make sure that your pet is stimulated and happy.

Animal Care Assistants
Spending time with your pet during their stay and creating a comfortable environment are their primary goals. These animal lovers make sure your pet is clean, fed and comfortable (both physically and emotionally) during his/her time away from you. They are your pet’s constant companions, as they love their job and enjoy every day what they do.

Pet Stylist

Abby
Mz & 13th
My name is Abby Hartley, and like many of us at Indian Hills, I am a transplant to Kansas. I am a proud parent of a seven-year-old girl, Paula. In addition, my family also consists of a pampered Himalayan, Bo Jangles, and a kitten, Mokana (newly rescued from the Humane Society).

Grooming is more fulfilling than I had even thought possible. It is about enjoying myself by doing what I love, and meeting new, wonderful people. I continue to learn through research and seminars, which keep me up to date on the latest techniques in the industry.

Dog Trainer:

Michael Gauna
CPDT-KA - Mz
Graduate of the Animal Behavior College and an Associate member of the International Association of Canine Professions. I am proud to be a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, an honor and significant accomplishment, as I am 1 of only 3 in Wichita and the surrounding area. Not only am I an animal trainer, but also a second level reiki practitioner—a skill I use exclusively on animals. I offer classes on Puppy Socialization, Basic Obedience and Advanced Obedience. I also make house calls to handle some of the inappropriate behaviors that dogs sometimes develop (digging, chewing, excessive barking, inappropriate urination, and aggression). I dedicate as much of my free time as I can to working with rescue organizations and help to rehabilitate animals in need.
